Invisalign®

Our Services

Invisalign® is an advanced orthodontic treatment designed to straighten and help correct bite issues, using a series of clear, removable teeth aligners instead of traditional metal braces to increase comfort and convenience.

If you have poorly aligned teeth or certain bite issues (over-, under-, or cross-bite), Invisalign® can improve your smile with minimal interruption to your daily activities and without others even noticing you are undergoing treatment.

Invisalign®

  • Clear aligners are virtually invisible
  • Smooth comfortable plastic aligners
  • Aligners are removable for easy cleaning
  • Eat whatever you want

Braces

  • Requires brackets and wires
  • Wires can poke and irritate mouth
  • Brushing and flossing require more effort
  • Many food restrictions

With regular braces, the brackets and wires may cause mouth sores, tooth decay (from inadequate cleaning), plaque buildup, tooth discoloration, and/or difficulty eating. There are also foods that you should avoid like: popcorn, chips, hard-crusted bread, pretzels, nuts, apples, carrots, corn and others.

The cost of Invisalign® treatment is comparable to traditional braces and for teens the length of treatments is comparable. For adults, treatment typically takes a year.

The Invisalign® Process

1. Initial Consultation with Our Dentist

We’ll determine if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign®. You can also ask questions and we can determine costs and insurance.

2. Treatment Plan is Created

The dentist will take x-rays, pictures and impressions of your teeth to create a digital 3-D image of them. Using these images the dentist will determine an Invisalign® treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth. The approximate length of treatment will also be determined.

3. You Receive Your First Invisalign® Aligners

A series of custom-made, clear BPA free aligners is made specifically for you. Wear them throughout the day (at least 20 hours), and remove them to eat or clean your teeth. The aligners gradually shift your teeth to the desired locations.

4. You Wear Your Subsequent Invisalign® Aligners

Every two weeks, you will switch to wear a new set of aligners as your teeth move to their desired locations. The dentist will book you for an appointment approximately every six weeks to check on your progress until you are done!
